LG Steam Direct Drive washing machine

LG's new washing machine uses steam power to freshen up your clothes in super-quick time. If you haven't got time to wait for a full wash to dry, just chuck in your garments and set it to Steam Refresh. In 20 minutes your togs will pop out crease free and smelling fresh.

It's an intelligent washer, so although it will take a full load up to 9Kg, it will weigh what's in the drum and automatically use less water and power if it's only partially loaded. It's got an A++ energy rating too, so uses 35 percent less water and 21 percent less energy than traditional A rated machines.

As it's a direct drive model it also promises fewer vibrations as there are no pulleys or belts involved so it's significantly quieter than a normal model.
