Sony XAV-W1
Whether you can't get the kids to stop arguing or you just fancy some top of the range automotive gadgetry, the Sony XAV-W1 will make your current in car setup look the entertainment equivalent of black and white TV.
The XAV-W1 packs in a DVD and SACD (Super Audio CD) player and comes with a Sony designed 7in TFT monitor with a widescreen resolution of 800x480 pixels.
It supports surround sound in Dolby Digital and DTS format and can also handle DivX video plus WMA and MP3 audio. If that's not enough choice, then you can hook up your own MP3 player and there's a remote control included so passengers in the back can have their say over the entertainment options. There's even a karaoke function, which beats singing along to 99 Bottles of Bear on the Wall on a long journey.
The XAV-W1 will be available soon for around £799. Keep an eye on Sony's website for more information.
