SwiMP3 Surf

While some electronic gadgets claim to be splash proof, there aren't all that many that relish being completely submerged in water. The SwiMP3 Surf, however, is designed for complete underwater operation so if surfing or swimming is your thing you can still take your tunes with you.

The battery will last for ten hours, enough for even the longest of underwater sessions, and you can fit up to 60 tracks on its 256MB memory in either MP3 or WMA format.

A set of waterproof earbuds is also included, which create a water tight seal in your ear so they stay in place while you're splashing around. When you're in less wet surroundings, there's a USB connection for hooking it up to your PC so you can load up new tracks.

The SwiMP3 Surf is available now from Advanced MP3 Players for £99.
